Ron Valinoti Founder
Over 30 years of experience in the financial information services industry including senior positions at: Bloomberg, Merrill Lynch, Interactive Data, Standard and Poor’s, Thomson Financial and DTCC. Expertise in fixed income valuation and credit analysis/surveillance, reference database design and development, back office accounting operations, and mid office risk monitoring.
Evan Bergstrom Principal
Evan Bergstrom is the head of products and technology for Triangle Park Capital Markets Data. With over 17 years of experience supporting the capital markets, Evan has developed software systems, quantitative methodologies and valuation models supporting both fixed income and OTC derivative products.
Prior to joining Triangle Park, Evan was the lead product manager for the Bloomberg BVAL municipal bond valuations product. He was a senior software architect for Goldman Sachs, where he oversaw the design and development of the credit risk reporting system as well as support for the margin and market risk systems. He worked at Interactive Data Corporation as a business analyst for the end-of-day pricing product and a Merrill Lynch in the Securities Pricing Service where he directed the project management office and developed a new municipal bond pricing system.
Evan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ.
J.R. Rieger Principal
J.R. leads the product management role for Triangle Park’s municipal bond data offerings. With over 36 years fixed income markets experience J.R brings a strong foundation in leveraging technology and data for bond valuations and market performance indexing and benchmarking.
Before joining Triangle Park, J.R. was the Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income Indices at S&P Dow Jones Indices. While at S&P Dow Jones Indices J.R. developed and launched a global suite of debt market indices resulting in investable index based products in 12 countries and totaling over $46billion in assets. A municipal bond veteran, the first family of indices launched by were focused on meeting the needs of the municipal bond market place. During this role, J.R. presented on the bond markets around the globe at industry events and represented S&P as a subject matter expert on the bond markets with the financial media in both print and television.
Prior to joining S&P Dow Jones Indices, J.R. was a 26 year veteran of S&P’s bond valuation business and concluded his bond valuation career as the Global Head of Bond Evaluations at S&P Securities Evaluations Services.
J.R. remains an active commentator and presenter on the bond markets and continues his blog “the Rieger Report”.
A graduate of the Widener University with a B.S. in Business Administration and Master’s from Adelphi University’s Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.
Billy Lannan Principal
As the Head of Business Operations, Billy Lannan works across multiple key functions to optimize the Triangle Park Capital Markets Data business model, business processes and technology infrastructure.
Over the past 25 years Billy has been a direct contributor in the formation, growth and optimization of multiple successful startup ventures.
Before joining Triangle Park Capital Markets Data, Billy was the Director of Information Technology at the cutting edge audience targeting company Semcasting. Before that he was the Information Technology Manager at one of the largest mail order & eCommerce companies on the east coast, Potpourri Group.
Billy has been featured in Internet Retailer Magazine and Winchester Systems white papers for implementing infrastructures which reduce operational costs and substantially increase productivity.
Art Gillin Principal
Trading and operational management background, Art is based in New York City and has extensive high level contacts at the “C” level at many top financial institutions. Art held executive positions at S&P’s JJ Kenny Municipal Brokerage, Cantor Fitzgerald and Merrill Lynch during his career.
